Happy Friday and Lovely Earrings!

Happy Friday! I'm so happy to see this week end... it's been a tough week at work! Tonight, I'm going out for a friend's birthday and tomorrow I'm free as a bird! My boyfriend and I have yet to decide what we will do, but I'm hoping the weather will be nice. I'm in desperate need of a tan so I hope we do something outdoors!

Anyway, I was perusing the internet today (in between looooong meetings and silly conference calls) and I came across these fabulous earrings from this Etsy shop:

FUN Desk Accesories and Office Supplies!

I recently moved to a new office and have a brand new big desk. It's nice and modern looking, but very minimalistic... I need some fun office supplies!

Various Things

Hi! I hope everyone is having a good week so far! My company moved offices last week so yesterday was my first day at my new office - it's been crazy, but so far I like the new space! Everything is glass and very modern. Now if only my JOB were different! :)

I have an update on my giveaway, which I will be drawing tomorrow! I made a tiny boo-boo and did not realize that the Lilly magnets aren't available to ship till August. I feel so bad about that and ensure the lucky winner will receive them as soon as they are available. BUT, I know how hard it is to wait for things (especially LILLY!) so I will be sending the winner a special surprise Lilly gift to tide them over until the adorable magnets can ship!!

On another note, DC GOP Girl was kind enough to give me the Sugar Doll Blogger award! Thank you! If you haven't checked out her blog, be sure to do so. It is adorable!

1.) I basically have cable so that I can watch the Food Network and Bravo. I seriously could watch those channels all day!

2.) I have a degree in Creative Writing and work in one of the least creative writing fields possible. I'm working on changing that!

3.) I have over 25 pairs of jeans and only wear about 3 of them on a regular basis.

4.) Iced tea with lemon is my favorite drink!

5.) I went to an all-girls high school.

6.) I am a teeny bit OCD. I wash my hands EVERYTIME I get back to my apartment from being outside.

7.) I like cooking in theory, but in practice I could eat out for every meal and not mind one bit.

8.) I used to get so mad at my mom when I was a kid for making me wear a dress to all my friend's birthday parties! I wanted to wear jeans! Now I love dressing up and am so glad she showed me how important it is.

9.) I took French class for a number of years, but now I only remember how to order food. Guess it shows where my priorities are. :)

10.) I just started watching Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami and it's my guilty pleasure!

Weekend Relaxation and More Pretty Things!

Hurray for the weekend! I had a long and frankly horrible week at work and am savouring every moment of relaxation this weekend. I slept late, took a long shower, watched the Food Network, and enjoyed my bagel with strawberry cream cheese. I'm going to do some housecleaning (I currently have piles of laundry "decorating" my living room) and then maybe walk over to In the Pink (my local Lilly via shop) and Sephora. Then I'm going to meet my boyfriend at the airport - he's been in South Carolina for work this week and I've missed him so much!! From the airport, we'll head to the North End for some Italian food!!
